Nawaz, Zardari key meeting ends without result

Islamabad, Aug 5 : The meeting to decide the fate of Pakistan's ruling coalition between PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan People's Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has concluded without any result.

PPP spokesman Farhatullah Babar said that both leaders discussed all important issues in detail and there will be another round of talks on Wednesday.

He said Nawaz-Zardari meeting would be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday in which ANP President Asfandyar Wali Khan and JUI-F Chief Fazlur Rehman would also participate.

PML-N leaders Chaudhry Nisar, Javed Hashmi, Khawaja Asif and Ishaq Dar also joined the two leaders in post-meeting discussion.

Meanwhile, Minister for Law Farooq H Naek also reached Zardari House with the draft of the constitutional package.

According to sources, Sharif has tried to convince Zardari to accept his demands of judges' restoration, president's impeachment and restoration of 1973 constitution in the meeting, The News reported.
