Bush briefed on bombings in India
Washington, Aug 2 (UNI) The United States has said it will help India seek out terrorists responsible for recent blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
President George Bush, after being updated on the recent bombings including a high alert in New Delhi, expressed his regret for innocent lives lost and for those people who were injured.
White House Spokeswoman Dana Perino gave this information yesterday in reply to a question during her daily press briefings.
''We stand with the Prime Minister of India (Dr Manmohan Singh) as they try to root out and seek out these terrorists. I know that they're looking for them very hard, and we will help in any way that we can,'' Ms Perino said.
