Puducherry DMK partymen to seek Karunanidhi's intervention

Puducherry,Aug 1(UNI) The Puducherry unit of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has decided to seek the intervention of party President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi to sort out the prevailing probelms in the Congress government here.

A decision to this effect was taken at the administrative committee meeting of the party today.

Speakers at the meeting, including state convenor and former Chief Minister R V Janakiraman expressed concern on the prevailing political situation, views of the ministers on the financial position, non-implementation of schemes and several pending works, among others.
