Minister rules out bus far hike in the state

Chandigarh, Aug 1: Transport Minister Mange Ram Gupta on Friday, August 1 made it clear that there was no proposal to hike the bus fare in Haryana following the recent hike in the prices of diesel.

Mr Gupta was talking to the mediapersons after flagging off the Volvo bus "Saarthi" at the Sector-17 ISBT here.

The newly introduced Volvo bus service would operate between Chandigarh and Delhi as well as between Chandigarh and Gurgaon via Indira Gandhi International Airport.
