Yashwant sows seeds on a Hazaribagh road as mark of protest
Hazaribagh, Jul 29 (UNI) Peeved at the dilapidated condition of Hazaribagh-Katkamsandi road, BJP's national vice-president Yashwant Sinha along with party workers today sowed rice seeds on a road here as a mark of protest.
The road was inaugurated by Chief Minister Madhu Koda about a year ago.
Criticising the state government for its ''lackadaisical'' attitude, Mr Sinha said the government was betraying its people on the name of development.
'' If the road inaugurated by the Chief Minister could not be built in a year, then one can understand of fate of other developmetal schemes, '' Mr Sinha said.
He said the estimate of that road was prepared for more than twice but the construction work was yet to begin.
CPI state secretary and Hazaribagh MP Bhuvneshwar also sat on a dharna about two months back.
