Three MCC ultras killed in encounter

Hazaribagh, Jul 29 (UNI) Three ultras of the proscribed MCC, including two women cadres, were killed in an encounter at Puchkaro jungle near Tilleya village under Bishnupur police station area in the district today.

Poilce said four rifles and huge cache of ammunition were recovered from the spot.

Acting on a tip-off, Superintendent of Police Praveen Kumar Singh carried out the joint raid in association with the 22nd battalion of CRPF.

Police suspected that the casualties on the side of the Maoist insurgents might be four.
