President Ram Baran Yadav likely to lead Nepal delegation to SAARC
Kathmandu, July 29 : Nepal's caretaker Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala today met former CPN (UML) General Secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal to discuss the current political situations in Nepal.
It was reported that Nepal had advised Koirala on letting President Dr Ram Baran Yadav lead the Nepali delegation to the 15th SAARC summit since the current government does not have legal authority to take important decisions.
His suggestion has come amid demands by Maoist leaders that the caretaker PM will have no legal authority to sign on treaties and agreements at the Summit.
During the meeting held at Nepal's residence in Koteshor, future alliance between the two parties and formation of a new Government were.
They also discussed about hindrances being created on the formation of new government and ways to find consensus among the parties.
Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula was also present at the meeting, Nepalnews reported.
