Jessica Simpson shops with her dog at Ralphs!

Washington, July 29 : With a sign stating that no dogs are allowed into the store, American pop singer Jessica Simpson was seen carting her dog along at Ralphs.

Ralphs' spokesman Terry O'Neill was confronted with a question on how a dog was allowed into the store even though it is prohibited, and the answer was that only Seeing Eye dogs were allowed. "We allow only Seeing Eye dogs in our stores," E!online quoted O'Neill as saying.

"Otherwise, no dogs. It's a [city] health department issue," he said.

Simpson's dog was in a Louis Vuitton carryall bag, and the bag clearly did not have a tag on it stating that it was a Seeing Eye dog, but she was still able to get her dog through at the door.

"People do have little dogs," O'Neill mused.

"Sometimes they sneak them into the store," he stated.

Had it been anyone else but Simpson, it could have been possible to smuggle the dog in.

But with a mob of paparazzi following her, she just could never have gone in unnoticed.
