Elephant's tusk worth Rs 12 lakh seized in Bengal
Siliguri, Jul 29 (UNI) The customs sleuths today seized eight pieces of elephant's tusk worth Rs 12 lakh from Ghoshpukur near here under Phasidewa police station.
Police said the items, weighing altogether 17 kgs, were found in a suitcase from a private bus.
The consignment was was transported to Muzzaffarpur in Bihar from Guwahati, sources said, adding that no arrests had been made so far.
