One killed, six injured in accident
Kaithal, July 28 (UNI) One person was killed and six others were injured when a Maruti van collided head-on with a Haryana Roadways bus near Kharak Pandva village on NH 65 last night, police today said.
In the accident, the van was badly damaged and one of its passenger, identified as Satyavan of Chandana, died on the spot while another person was seriously injured.
Five passengers of the bus, which was on way from Chandigarh to Sirsa, also sustained injuries.
Police has registered a case for rash and negligent driving against bus driver Gurmail Singh.
