2 kanwaria killed, 20 injured in road mishap
Jaunpur, Jul 28 (UNI) Two Kanwarias were crushed to death and 20 others sustained serious injuries after their tractor-trolly turned turtle in Mugrabadshahpur area here today.
The incident occurred at Mugrabadshahpur-Sujanganj Marg near Jaypalpur village, where a tractor-trolly overturned in its bid to overtake a car, killing two on the spot, police said.
The injured were admitted to hospital, where seven critical have been referred to Allahabad.
At least 24 Kanwarias were aboard the vehicle heading towards Allahabad to collect holy water of river Ganga.
