Son of a sarpanch abducted in Bihar
Muzaffarpur, Jul 27 (UNI) Some unidentified miscreants abducted the son of Vivek Kumar, Sarpanch of Kamrup panchayat, under Kazi Mohammadpur police station in the district last evening.
According to police, Vedant alias Akash (12), son of Mr Kumar was kidnapped while cycling near his house in Kamrup panchayat.
The reason behind the abduction was yet unknown.
An FIR had been lodged at the concerned police station and raids were on to rescue the child and nab the culprits, police added.
