7 Hindu Pakistanis arrested in Hardwar

Hardwar, Jul 26 (UNI) The Uttarakhand police today arrested seven Hindu Pakistanis staying at a hotel here for the last several days without visa.

Talking to UNI, SSP Hardwar B Murugoshan said acting on a tip-off, the police arrested seven Hindu-Pakistanis staying at a hotel here this morning.

During investigation, the arrested revealed that they had come to Hardwar to attend the Kanwar Mela.

The state police has stepped up security in view of the ongoing Kanwar Mela and is on a high alert following the blasts in Bangalore yesterday.
