SW Monsoon more active in N Coastal AP
Visakhapatnam, Jul 25: The Southwest Monsoon was more active in North Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh.
According to a spokesman of the Cyclone Warning Centre here on Friday, July 25, the monsoon was moderate to vigorous with coastal areas and southern peninsula receiving good rainfall. The CWC predicted rain or thundershowers at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours. The chief amounts of rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours (in cm) were Peddapuram 8, Chintalapudi 6, Gopalur 5 and Nellore and Polavaram 4 each, the CWC spokesman added.
