Rs 20-25 crore will be spent on each constituency: Capt
Fatehgarh Sahib, July 25 (UNI) Minister for Cooperation Capt Kanwaljit Singh today said that Rs 20 to Rs 25 crore will be spent in every constituency of Punjab for initiating development works.
After completion of election process of various local and civil bodies, now the state government would fully focus on development works, the minister said while addressing a gathering at Jakhwali village where he honoured newly-elected Panchyat members.
Deputy Commissioners of state have been asked to submit report of works to be initiated in their villages and towns.
He said Market Committees of the state will be constituted soon and Akali leaders will be adjusted in these committees.
He announced grant of Rs 1 lakh for Elementary School of village Jakhwali and the same amount for construction work on streets.
