GSIA releases guide to industries, enterprises

Panaji, July 25 (UNI) The Goa State Industries Association (GSIA) has today released a comprehensive guide to industries and enterprises in Goa-2008, to help entrepreneurs and researchers to study the trends and set up industries.

Disclosing this to media persons, the association president Atul Naik said, the guide will facilitate entrepreneurs set up industries, as it provides them with information on various formalities required for the purpose.

The priced guide incorporates various laws and rules for medium and small enterprises and other relevant data, so that the entrepreneurs could avoid going from pillar to post to set up units.

The first part of the compilation contains procedures to set up industries, types and consents/no objection certificates required, infrastructure, marketing and financial assistance available besides various laws and regulations applicable to industries.

The second part is a directory listing the details of most of the industries functioning in all industrial estates of Goa and those outside these estates, he added.
