Rajkot, July 25 : Bharatiya Janata Party activists staged a protest here on Thursday accusing the Union government of using money power to help it survive the trust vote.

They also staged a street play here, lampooning what they termed as 'wanton display of horse-trading'.

"They have no concern about the opinion of the people and tried to save the government buying MP's in the parliament. SP general secretary Amar Singh tried to lure parliamentarians," said Ranjan Bhai, a BJP activist.

The lawmakers of BJP had alleged bribery by the Congress-led UPA (United Progressive Alliance) government to win the Tuesday's trust vote.

Three BJP lawmakers had waved wads of currency notes in the Lok Sabha during the trust vote proceedings, stunning the whole nation.

The BJP claimed that its three Members of Parliament (MPs) - Ashok Argal, Faggan Singh Kulaste and Mahaveer Bagora - were offered three crore rupees each and were handed over one crore rupees in advance.
