Rolta India Q1 net up by 3.8% to Rs 54.78 cr

New Delhi, Jul 24 (UNI) Rolta India Ltd today said its net profit increased a meagre 3.8 per cent to Rs 54.78 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 52.77 crore in the same period previous year.

The company's total income soared 14.5 per cent to Rs 199.52 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 from Rs 174.23 crore in the same corresponding period previous year.

The company's net profit increased 44.2 per cent to Rs 262.94 crore for the year ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 182.25 crore in FY07-08.

The total income surged 41.7 per cent to Rs 861.41 crore for the year ended June 30, 2008 from Rs 607.67 crore for the year ended June 30, 2007.

The Group's net profit rose 4 per cent to Rs 50.83 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 48.85 crore for the same period previous year.

The total income increased 48.3 per cent to Rs 307.70 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 from Rs 207.47 crore in the corresponding period previous year.

The Group's net profit surged 33.5 per cent to Rs 230.59 crore for the year ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 172.64 crore for FY07-08.

The total income increased 50.9 per cent to Rs 1089.19 crore for the year ended June 30, 2008 from Rs 721.66 crore for the year ended June 30, 2007.
