Synchron receives excellence award, Founder MD gets Udyog Ratna

Ahmedabad, Jul 23 (UNI) City-based Synchron Research, an industry leader in the area of clinical research, has got a double success, winning the Excellence Award by the Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi, and its Founder and Managing Director Dr Shivprakash Rathnam bagging the Udyog Ratna Award.

Dr Rathnam was conferred with the award in recognition of his contribution to the development of Clinical Research Industry in India, a release said here today.

The institute closely monitors various facets of the economy and the individual contributions made by various companies and business leaders, then a panel of eminent people from the institute and across the country form the jury in order to select the winners.

The patrons of the institute include several leaders in economics, studies, politics and business, the release added.
