New Holland to roll out 18 new products by 2011
New Delhi, Jul 21 (UNI) With an aim to double its revenue during the next three years, New Holland Agriculture will roll out 18 new products from its portfolio with an intial investment of 30 to 60 million dollars.
'' The company will introduce 18 new products in the next three years taking its tally from the present 12 to 30 products,'' MD, New Holland Mario Gasparri said here today.
The company has an overall six per cent of the domestic market share where as in 40 HP(Horse Power) segment it enjoys 10 per cent share.
The company will also set up a new spare parts depot in India to serve the customers along with expanding its manufacturing facility in the production of a new drive line and axles.
It also aims to export about 50 per cent of the total products manufactured here by 2011 from the country.
''We plan to make India as a global base for tractors and assemblies along with increasing the present manufacturing capacity from 30,000 units to 40,000 in the next three years, '' Mr Gasparri added.
A majority-owned subsidiary of Fiat Group New Holland also plans to increase its number of employees to 800 by the end of this year.
