US House of Reps demand calling back of students enrolled in Pak madrassas
Washington, July 17 : A resolution passed by the US House of Representatives last evening called for the removal of thousands of American students enrolled in Pakistani madarassas, as it is feared that they might fall in the Taliban's trap.
The resolution number 1336 tabled by four US congressmen - three from Texas and one from Indiana - said that Pakistani religious schools "teach extremism and jihad" and therefore the American students should be taken out of the schools, reported the Daily Times.
It said that thousands of American children studying in these madrassas might follow in Taliban footsteps and become a threat to world peace.
