Court issues summons to Chautala in JBT scam case
New Delhi, Jul 17 (UNI) A CBI court has issued summons to former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala along with two IAS officers and 56 other accused in the JBT scam case after taking cognisance of a chargesheet filed by the CBI.
It is alleged that in year 1999-2000, 3032 teachers were recruited by Mr Chautala and his son Ajay Chautala along with other alleged accused on the basis of forged documents.
The matter was registered by the CBI on the direction of the Supreme Court and various documents and property worth lakhs were seized from various places by the CBI during the investigation.
CBI Special Judge R K Yadav issued summons yesterday to all the accused to appear before the court on August 20.
