Tata Tele (Maha) subscriber base increased 62% in Q1, net up 6%

New Delhi, Jul 16 (UNI) Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd today said its subscriber base increased 62 per cent at 5.6 million in the first quarter of the current fiscal over corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The Company registered a net profit of Rs 79.57 cr, a six per cent increase over the Q1 FY08.

Revenues grew 23 per cent to Rs 504.89 crore in Q1 FY09 as compared to the same period last fiscal.
