Spain named Brits' 'Worst Holiday Destination for Food Poisoning'
London, July 16 : Spain might be riding high after winning Euro 2008 - but according to new poll, the country is the worst place where British tourists are most likely to suffer from 'Delhi Belly', or a dodgy holiday tummy.
According to the survey, which was conducted by Halifax Travel Insurance, one in four Brits fall sick when holidaying in Spain, with Greece, Turkey and Egypt next worst contenders, reports The Sun.
And a fifth have had to visit a hospital while away for "Delhi Belly".
The fear of a dodgy tum means more than a fifth of families take their own food.
Halifax Travel Insurance said that the top choices of food were baked beans and cornflakes.
