HCL Tech inks agreement to acquire UK's Liberata Financial Service
New Delhi, Jul 16 (UNI) Software services firm HCL Technologies Ltd today said it has signed an agreement to acquire UK based Liberata Financial Services (LFS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liberata Ltd , for an undisclosed amount.
''This strategic acquisition of LFS enhances HCL's ability to become an end-to-end provider of business process outsourcing services to the financial services industry,'' HCL BPO President and CEO , Ranjit Narasimhan said in a statement.
The UK firm provides back-office administrative and customer services for the life insurance and pension industry.
HCL will acquire LFS four delivery centres in the UK with 800 professionals, it added.
