CBI probes taking upon political ideology in UP- BJP

Vrindavan, Jul 15 (UNI) Dennouncing the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) for shifting their ideologies, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today said Uttar Pradesh, which was the epicentre of political activities of the country, has now turned into a breeding ground of corruption with CBI probes replacing political ideology.

Addressing the concluding session of the two-day UP BJP working committee meeting here, Party's national general secretary and in-charge of UP Arun Jaitely said now, both the Bahujan Samaj Party and the Samajwadi Party were driven by the probe against their leaders in the case of corruption rather than of their political ideology.

''BSP supported the Congress in the last Presidential poll due to CBI case against Ms Mayawati similarly, Mulayam Singh Yadav was supporting the UPA government to prevent the Centre from going ahead with the CBI probe against him'', he said.

Mr Jaitely said cases of corruption against both the big regional parties have doomed the political scenario of the state, which once had a glamour to decide the fate of the parties.

BSP and SP had no political reasons to support the Centre on different occasions, but the only reason was to save their leaders from the probe on corruption charges against them'', he claimed.

He also questioned the Samajwadi Party about their change in the ideology as Lohia always opposed the Congress, while they have joined the Centre to save their personal interest.

The BJP leader said now, the party worker should work together to rake up the corruption issue in the state and aware the people about the wrong doings of the leaders of BSP and SP.

He further said the SP is also accountable about spiralling inflation after its support to the Centre and said both the parties are on the appeasement move to attract a certain section of the vote bank.

Earlier, the working committee also passed a resolution on prevailing corruption in the state with highlighting its prevelance in all the section of the government. The party has blamed both the BSP and SP for the rampant corruption in the state leading to derailment in the developmental works.
