Groundnutseed, its oil steady: RBD Palm oil declines

Mumbai, July 14 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed and its oil today remained steady on moderate demand by stockists, while RBD palmolein slightly eased by Rs 2 per ten kg, on lower buying support, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In the oil segment (per ten kgs), Kandla and castor comm rose by Rs 5 and Re 1 per ten kg respectively.

RBD palmolein and seasame expeller was down by Rs 2 and Rs 10 per ten kg respectively on poor offtake, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal), barring castorseed Bombay and castorseed Disa, all remained unchanged on scattered buying by bulk consumers.

Castorseed Bombay and castorseed Disa was up by Rs 5 and Rs 40 per quintal respectively on speculative buying, traders added.
