Bajaj Allianz launches Family CareFirst health insurance

Kolkata, Jul 11 (UNI) Bajaj Allianz today launched " Family CareFirst", a product first of its kind in India that provides health insurance to whole family including parents and in-laws in a single plan with logistic premium.

No health insurance plan had so far covered in-laws of the policy holder.

Unveiling the product, company's health insurance head Ujjaini Dasgupta said the scheme has premium guarantee for three years and an additonal discount of 15 per cent on 4th year on renewal premium along with tax benefit.

The policy covers hospitalisation expenses as well as cashless treatment up to Rs 10 lakh. If the policy holder opts for a sum assure of Rs 5 lakh for one's family they can avail up to Rs 5 lakh every year to meet hospitalisation expenses, subject to limits on reimbursement of expenses.

The premium depends on heads of insured people and mode of payment has flexibility from monthly to yearly.
