Enstranged husband rapes wife in Punjab

Bathinda, Jul 10 (UNI) A married woman was allegedly gang raped by her enstranged husband and five others near the railway station here last night, police sources today confirmed.

In a statement to the police, the victim alleged that she was abducted from her parents house in the town by her husband and taken to a deserted place near the railway station. There she was raped by her husband and five other persons, whom she did not recogise.

The police after a medical examination of the woman has registered a case against the husband, Karam Chand and others. No arrests had been made so far.
