Pride Group bags CNBC TV18 ''Emerging India Awards 2008''
Mumbai, Jul 09 (UNI) The city-based Pride Group of Hotels have been awarded the CNBC TV18 ''Emerging India Awards 2008'' under Travel and Tourism catagory, at a glittering ceremony in London today.
''Pride has come a long way. We started with one hotel in the year 1999 and now we have six operating hotels, with more that five projects under construction", Pride Group of Hotels Director S P Jain said on the occasion, according to a release today. Pride Group excelled among 200 other participants, the release said.
The CNBC TV 18 ''Emerging India 2008'' award focussed on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that account for almost 90 per cent of the country's industrial units and 35 percent of its exports. Three lakh SMEs across the country participated in the awards that was attended by the likes of L N Mittial, CEO, Chairman, Mittal Steel and ICICI Bank Chairman K V Kamath.
