One women injured by firing with a country made gun

Kannur, Jul 09 (UNI) One woman was seriously injured by firing with a country made gun by his husbands friend at Kannam Vayal near Cherupuzha the hill area about 60 kilometres away from here under Peringom police limits at today aftyernoon.

Police said that, Daisy (30) wife fo Iyathil Kunhiimon was injured on her neck by firing with a country made gun with out licence by Kuttayi (32) at afternoon. Daisy was engaged to cutting the bushes of a rubber plantation at Kannam vayal near here house with other woman. On yesterday, Kuttayi has demanded sexual assualt with him but she was not agreed.Kuttayi and Kunhimon were neighbours and they are close friends.Daisy was hospitalised at Pariyaram medical college, however, she was overcame the critical situation,hospital sources said.

Police said that, Kuttayi was absconding from the scene and ranaway to the Karnataka forest area, the border of Kerala, the country made gun also not recovered. Daisy has two childrens.
