National award for more Andaman Scientists
Port Blair, Jul 9 (UNI) Three greenfield scientists working in Andaman and Nicobar Islands have been named for Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed award for agriculture research in tribal areas for the Biennium 2006-07.
The scientists are C B Pandey, S Ghoshal Choudhuri, and M Din of Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI).
They will receive the awards from the Agriculture Minister in New Delhi on July 16.
The award consists of a citation and Rs 50,000/- in cash.
