Manmohan to head for home facing political turmoil
Toyako, Jul 9 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh leaves Japan this evening, heading into a political uncertainty at home now that the Left bloc have formally withdrawn support to the Congress-led UPA government.
The Prime Minister, who is still preoccupied with his bilateral meetings with important leaders of the world on the sidelines of G-8 summit, which concludes here this evening, leaves Japan for Delhi at 2040 hrs local time.
It is understood that the Prime Minister has been informed of the decision of the Left parties formally withdrawing their support.
The Left leaders led by CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat submitted their support withdrawal letter to President Pratibha Patil shortly after noon today.
