Margaret Alwa to meet delegation of District Committees

Thane, Jul 5 (UNI) All India Congress Committee (AICC) incharge for Maharashtra, Margaret Alwa will meet delegations of five District Congress Committees from the state here tomorrow.

The five district committees, include Washim, Jalgaon, Nandurbar and Thane, which has as many as 24 MLAs, Party sources said here today.

The meeting will be a kind of damage control exercise, after the Congress's defeat in various elections, held recenly, the sources said.

The Thane delegation will also include about a dozen corporators of the party, the sources said.
