RS Chairman administers membership affirmation to CPI MP
New Delhi, Jul 4 (UNI) Mr Ramachandra Singh of the CPI elected to Rajya Sabha from West Bengal Assembly, was administered membership affirmation by Chairman Hamid Ansari at his Chamber today.
Mr Singh, elected to fill the casual vacancy took his affirmation in Bengali and those who were present at the event included Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs V Narayanasamy, CPI MP D Raja and senior CPI MPs Gurudas Dasgupta and C K Chandrappan.
Mr Singh will complete rest of the his RS term up to April 2012.
