Groundnutseed, its oil inched up; RBD Palm oil steady

Mumbai, Jun 28 (UNI) Spot prices of groundnutseed and its oil inched up today, on good export enquiries, while RBD palm oil remained unchanged on scattered buying by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oil segment (per ten kgs), groundnut oil, rapeseed exp and rice bran went up by Rs 5. Cottonseed refined and Kandla also improved by Rs 10 and Re 1 respectively, on better buying support.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnutseed increased by Rs 25 per quintal. Javas 60/70, javas 70/80 and javas 80/90 went up by Rs 50 per quintal each. Castorseed Bombay fell by Rs 10 per quintal on lack of demand, traders said.

In De-oiled cakes (per tonne), undec cottonseed declined by Rs 300. Soyameal (48 per cent) was hiked by Rs 100 per tonne on fresh buying support, traders said.
