Two groups clashed over putting up hoardings at the Panchvati College today.
Nilesh Garkal, city secretary of Maharashtra Navnirman Vidyarthi Sena, was attacked by members of the rival group with swords and knives. A seriously injured Nilesh was rushed to the district civil hospital but was declared dead by the doctors.
