Pakistan FM to arrive in India tomorrow
Islamabad, Jun 26 (UNI) Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is to pay a four-day visit to India from tomorrow on the invitation of External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee.
''The Foreign Minister will hold talks with Mr Mukherjee on issues of mutual interest and explore the possibility of furthering bilateral cooperation for the common benefit and prosperity of the two countries,'' Foreign Office spokesman Muhammad Sadiq told a press briefing here today.
Mr Qureshi would call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and meet other political leaders. He would also meet a delegation of the Kashmiri leaders.
The Foreign Minister would deliver a key note address at the Centre for Research in Rural and Industrial Development, Chandigarh.
''The visit will help carry forward the peace process and address the outstanding issues between the two countries,'' Mr Sadiq added.
