Nuke deal, inflation did not figure at Cabinet meet: Chavan

New Delhi, June 26 (UNI) The weekly Cabinet meeting did not discuss today the Indo-US nuclear deal or the rising prices of essential commodities, Mr Prithviraj Chavan, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said.

''The deal did not figure at the meeting,'' while inflation was normally discussed at the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Prices, not the Cabinet or its Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), Mr Chavan told reporters who wanted to know the government's next move on the two burning issues.
