40-yr-old woman killed

Bhopal, Jun 24 (UNI) A 40-year-old woman has been strangulated to death at her home in Shivajinagar area of the state capital, police said today.

Preeti Jain (40) was at her home when she was killed by unidentified people yesterday afternoon. Her two-and-half year child was at her mother-in-law's house at the time, while her husband, who is a government employee, had gone to Jabalpur.

The reason behind the murder was not known.
