2,415 yatris leave for Amarnath
Jammu, June 24 (UNI) Escorted by security personnel, at least 2,415 pilgrims today proceeded for the cave shrine of Shri Amarnath in South Kashmir.
The seventh batch, including 470 women, 132 children and 203 Sadhus, left for 'yatra' in 50 buses and 39 light motor vehicles, official sources said.
Since the 'yatra' began on June 17, as many as 20,051 devotees from across the country have proceeded for Amarnath pilgrimage from the Jammu base camp, they said.
