Two arrested Pak girls handed over in Rajouri

Jammu, Jun 23 (UNI) Security forces handed over two Pakistani girls, who were arrested after they inadvertently crossed to the Indian side, to Pakistan authorities in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, a source said here today.

''Two Pakistani girls of village Pandori in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), who had crossed over to the Indian side, were handed over to Pakistan authorities at a flag meeting in Nowshera sector last evening,'' the source told UNI.

The girls have been identified as Kiran, 19, and Saddaf, 17, and were apprehended by the troops 400 meters inside of the Line of Control (LOC).

The Pakistan authorities were contacted last evening and the girls were handed over to them as a part of strengthening of Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) between the two neighbours, the source added.
