Hearing of UP court blast case in Jail

Faizabad, Jun 23: Hearing of the terrorists accused in the local court blast case will be held in the jail here.

Khalid Mohammad, Tariq Quasmi, Mohammad Akhtar and Sajjadurahman, presently incarcerated in Lucknow jail, would be produced in Faizabad Division jail for further hearing amid tight security, Superintendent of Police Gopesh Nath Khanna said.

The decision was taken keeping in view the security of the accused, he added.

On June 7, the quartet were produced in Additional District judge (III) R K Gautam's court.

On November 23, last year, contemporaneous blasts had rocked Lucknow, Varanasi and Faizabad court compounds.

In the Faizabad court blast, four people had lost their lives and 24 others sustained grievous wounds.
