Tata Power net up 24.84% at Rs 869.90 cr for FY08
New Delhi, Jun 23 (UNI) Tata Power Company Ltd, country's biggest private power utility, today said its net profit has increased 24.84 per cent to Rs 869.90 crore for the year ended March 2008 as compared to Rs 696.80 crore during the previous fiscal.
Total income has surged 26.13 per cent to Rs 6,381.75 crore in FY08 from Rs 5,059.31 crore in FY07.
The Group has registered a net profit of Rs 996.48 crore for the year ended March 2008 as compared to Rs 736.78 crore for the previous financial year, a jump of 35.24 per cent.
Total income has increased 68.61 per cent to Rs 11,369.51 crore for FY08 from Rs 6,742.71 crore during the last fiscal.
