Earlier a film by director J P Dutta was shot in Leh and Himachal Pradesh besides other parts of the country.

''I wanted to shoot the entire film on the real location, including Drass, Tiger hills, Tololing and other places to show the world what happened during the Kargil conflict and under what conditions our soldiers give their today for our tomorrow.'' he said.

On the first day of the shooting, thousands of people gathered there to cheer the film unit.

Major Ravi said Mohan Lal, Malyalam super star will play the lead role of Major Mah Devan, a soldiers who brilliantly led from the front his forces against the Pakistan intruders.

He has introduced new face Miss Anjana opposite Mohan Lal in the film.
