Labourer killed, another injured as earth caves in
Chandigarh, Jun 23 (UNI) A labourer was killed and another seriously injured when the earth caved in during a digging work for laying pipelines near theparking lot of Punjab and Haryana High Court here today.
Police identified the deceased as Sanjay Bhagat. He was crtically wounded in the mishap and rushed to the Sector 16 Government Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, police said.
Another injured labourer, stated to be serious, was admitted to the PGI here.
