Heavy rains forecast in Northeast, West Bengal, Bihar, Kerala

Pune, June 23 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, north Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, coastal Karnataka and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in west Uttar Pradesh, south Konkan, Goa, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka, and at a few places in south Orissa, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, west Madhya Pradesh, north Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalseema.

Rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka.

Heavy rains have occured at many places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and at a few places in Assam and Meghalaya.

Rain or thundershowers have occured at most places in Kerala and at many places in Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Rain or thundershowers have also occurred at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Orissa, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, east Rajasthan, Gujarat, Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Rayalseema and north interior Karnataka.
