Businessman robbed of Rs 26 lakh
Mumbai, Jun 23 (UNI) A city-based businessman was robbed of Rs 26 lakh by four armed men at Dindoshi, near Goregaon in North Mumbai today, police said.
The 36-year-old trader Harshad Parmar was driving his car this evening and as the vehicle slowed down near a traffic signal, the miscreants threatened him with a 'khukri' knife.
They snatched the bag, which contained the money, and fled with the booty.
The police were not ruling out the involvement of an insider, said an officer from Dindoshi police station.
They have registered a case and further investigations are on.
