BJP pays rich tribute to party ideologue:raps Cong for Kashmir issue

Lucknow, Jun 23 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to Bharatiya Janata Party ideologue Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on the occasion of his death anniversary today.

Senior BJP leader Lalji Tandon, Mayor Dinesh Sharma and other party leaders gathered at the Shayama Prasad Mukherjee hospital to pay respect.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Tandon blasted the Congress for the Kashmir issue and said the BJP ideologue was apt in his stand towards that. ''The Kashmir issue would have been solved but for the lackadaisical attitude of the Congress leadership over the years.

He said the Dr Mukherjee was the lone crusador against the partisan attitude of the Congress on the Kashmir issue.

Various BJP leaders lamabsted Congress for acting against the constitutional norms by way of imposing emergency in 1975.
