304 college teachers dimissed in Bihar
Darbhanga, Jun 23 (UNI) Altogether 304 college teachers working under the Lalit Narayan Mithila University have been dismissed, University sources said here today.
A notification to this effect was issued yesterday, the sources said, adding that the action was taken as the teachers were appointed in the colleges against the order of the Supreme Court.
The sources said the teaching staff of the M L S College, Darbhanga, and J M D P L Girls College, Madhubani, were dismissed.
Both the colleges were affiliated to the university in the fourth phase.
The action had been taken against all the teachers except those working on the sanctioned posts.
Meanwhile, the dismissed staff members launched an agitation to protest their dismissal.
